THE DEAD CAN TALK - WE JUST NEED TO LISTEN . Harbouring an innate distrust of the police, Cassie sets out to investigate the death and deliver justice for the woman who saved her life. For fans of Elly Griffiths' Ruth Galloway series and Kathy Reichs' Temperance Brennan comes a new heroine for forensic medicine.

"(a) gritty novel with an engaging heroine"

North American crime writers have made the science of dissecting corpses their own, but the British author Turner puts a different spin on the genre here. Rather than a world-famous pathologist, Cassie Raven is a mortuary assistant preparing bodies for examination in a run-down building in Camden. Now her much-loved former teacher is dead, apparently in a freak accident, and Cassie is the only person who suspects foul play.
