Twenty years ago, Anton was convicted of killing his wife, a crime he has always denied, but he is certainly creepy. Add an older female neighbour, obsessively in love with the supposed wife killer, and the conditions are in place for a violent confrontation. Perry has come up with a clever novel in which everyone is hiding something, and keeps the reader guessing.
