"a techie thriller about the kindness and cruelty of strangers"

This is a techie thriller about the kindness and cruelty of strangers that expects you to know not only that catfishing is the adoption of a fake identity for nefarious purposes, but also what ASMR stands for (autonomous sensory meridian response). For all sorts of apt reasons, “spine-tingling” is better.
