"[an] unforgettable debut"

I never thought I would have wanted to read a book about a pandemic until I picked this up! Set in 2025, a virus swepps the world, but it only affects men. With 90% of the male population wiped out, this imagines a female-driven future. What is astonishing about this unforgettable debut is that is was written in 2018, and sold to be a publisher pre-Covid.
