Bravo!' PAUL BURSTON 'It's absolutely bloody brilliant and I can't tell you much I wish I'd written it.' TAMMY COHEN`It's SO GOOD!' INDIA KNIGHT____________________________Early readers are obsessed with The Family Upstairs:`I read so many books in the crime/mystery genre that it becomes harder to find a book that stands out.

"Creepy, intricate and utterly immersive"

The narrative baton passes between Libby, who is trying to discover more about the past; mother-of-two Lucy, virtually destitute on the Côte d’Azur; and Henry, who tells the story of how his parents became victims of charismatic David Thomsen, who moved into their home and made himself theleader of a micro-cult, stripping them of all their possessions. The connections between the three, and the true extent of the devastation, gradually become clear. Creepy, intricate and utterly immersive: an excellent holiday read.

"a pacy and intoxicating read"

It is no surprise Lisa Jewell tops the bestseller charts time and again; she is the master of the psychological thriller. Libby is shocked to find out she's inherited a huge houes in Chelsea, but is it what it seems? Sinsiter and gripping, this is a pacy and intoxicating read about a house with some dark secrets.
